S&P 500 Forecast for Tuesday, August 18, 2020 Markets

Day's Theme - Possible new high OR close. Gap up. Premarket rally continues through the open. Around roughly 10am est. there will be a strong drop off of the early morning high. Sideways movement AND/OR rotation from roughly 11am and 12pm est. Another significant drop between 11:30am and 1pm est. A support/resistance line is met between 1pm and 2pm est. An opportunity to close bearish positions AND/OR protect bearish positions. There could be a significant gap down tomorrow but I'm not risking it. At around 1:30pm to 3pm a reversal off of a support/resistance level in the last hour of trading. Decline does not retrace entire move higher at the start of the day. Closes higher.

1-Day High - Between the premarket and 10am est. Possibly a new high AND/OR an evening star.

1-Day Low - Between 12pm and 3pm est.

Planned Trades - trade window around the open AND/OR between 2pm and 3pm est.

I plan to:

1) Sell to close long calls around the first 10 minutes of trading.

2) Buy to Open long puts in the first 10 minutes of trading.

3) Buy to Close short puts against the long puts that were opened earlier in the day.
